My name is Christopher Prascus, I’m a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, and I founded Soldier Boy Beef Jerky in 2016. While serving in the military, I was a part of the 421st Black widow Fighter Squadron. As an armament systems specialist on the F-16 fighting falcon, we spent long periods away from home. Some of my best memories came from the care packages my family sent to me. The beef jerky in those packages, although not great, gave me the most comfort of home. On my return, I knew I could make a far superior jerky by combining my old family recipes originally for barbeque and using premium quality beef. Our recipes were handed down from generation to generation using all-natural signature spices combined with a slow smoke for a perfect finish, and now I’d like to share them with you. I developed my recipes using premium quality beef with the same spices from our family recipe. We pride ourselves on providing a robust, tender jerky product that truly stands apart from any other jerky on the market.
Three generations of my family proudly served our country’s military. Second Lieutenant Edward Carlyle served in the United States Army Air Force as a bombardier navigator aboard the B-17 Flying Fortress. And John Prascus served in the United States Army as a radio tech specialist during Vietnam.
